We continuously strive to bridge the gap between our student members and industry to provide our sponsor’s access to leaders within the UW ISyE department. Industry exposure helps our members to make knowledgeable and confident career decisions upon graduation- often decisions to work for our sponsor companies!
Enthusiasm: An active IIE member brings an unheralded enthusiasm to the topic of Industrial Engineering. They strive to learn more about their degree and future profession and take pride in their skill sets gained as an IE at UW-Madison.
Social & Communication Skills: Members learn to communicate articulately both in one-to-one settings and in group situations
Education Enhancement: IIE enhances the education of an IE student through the supplementary use of industry tours, workshops and real-world learning experiences.
Team-Oriented: Members have the opportunity to work with other members while planning and participating in IIE events.

Leadership Skills: IIE is led by a nominated, voluntary officer board and members, who develop and promote IIE through excellent leadership skills and event planning.
